The Main Event of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure may be over and done, but the poker action is far from over on Paradise Island. A number of players stuck around Atlantis after Harrison Gimbel’s big victory on Monday and have been taking part in the remaining side events, including the prestigious $25,000 buy-in High Roller tournament.

But when the players returned Tuesday afternoon to continue play, Veldhuis discovered that he had miscounted his chips and in fact, was the overnight chip leader.

Day Two of the PCA was a day for moving and shaking. Of the 1,529 players who took part in this year’s event, only 884 returned for the second day of tournament play. The dust has yet to settle on the day, but it appears as though less than 300 remain in the field.
