2009 POY Winner Eric Baldwin Signs with Ultimate Bet
It’s been a pretty good week for Eric Baldwin, but then again he has had a pretty good year as well. Just days after he clinched the 2009 Card Player Player of the Year award, Baldwin has signed a sponsorship deal with Ultimate Bet. Baldwin will become a member of Team UB, joining poker professionals such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.
Pala Casino Completes Renovation and Expansion
The Pala Casino Spa and Resort has completed a $100 million expansion and renovation project. The Pala now has 507 rooms, including 82 luxury suites. All rooms now include flat-screen televisions, luxury armories, iPod docking clock radios, and high-speed Internet. All suites also now have in-room Jacuzzis.
2010 UBOC Schedule Features $4 Million Guaranteed
The schedule for the 2010 Ultimate Bet Online Championship (UBOC) was recently released and features more than $4 million in guaranteed prize money up for grabs across 18 events. The festivities will span the course of a dozen days.
